SAR distribution over whole human body existed in the field of mobile base station antenna

There is a need for calculating the SAR inside the human body due to the illumination with the waves impinging from base stations. In this paper, a high performance computing model is initiated for such problem. It depends on the Method of Moments to simulate radiation from base station antenna, while depends on Finite Difference Time Domain method for human body simulation. The scattered field from the antenna simulation is applied as an incident wave in the FDTD simulator which is more efficient in SAR calculations. Due to the large computational domain of bulky electromagnetic field components, cluster parallel processing technique is applied with MPI. Good results are achieved that are in agreement with the measured SAR.
