Studies of input speed of word inputting system using event-related potential

This paper presents a method of improving input speed of word inputting system using Event-related Potential (ERP). The ERP components are detected utilizing a wavelet analysis and a linear discriminating function. Especially we succeed improving discriminating efficiency by means of learning coefficients of linear discriminating function using a neural network.
