CAD/CAM for Rolling of Complex Shape Profiles
暂无分享,去创建一个
The rolling of complex shapes is an economic process to obtain not only structural shapes but also precision profiles for high technology applications like turbine blades and vanes. The roll pass design is as complex as the geometrical shape of the final profile. Several variables influence the forming process like material properties, rolling speed, friction and geometry. The computer aided roll pass design is based on experience-based rules as well as mathematical modelling of the deformation process. The designer interacts with the computer to optimize the number of passes. The computer aided manufacturing is included in the same CAD workstation and the complex set of rolls and tools can be prepared at the terminal screen.
