Life cycle aspects of the environmental impact of electrical and electronic equipment from the European point of view

This paper discusses the European strategies and their closely related research focuses on the environmental impact of electrical and electronic products. The influence of the referencing main EC–Directives and EC–Regulations on life cycle analysis and environmental impact assessment is discussed.
