Temporal offset optical data processing

Abstract Using television techniques, a real-time coherent data processing system has been investigated that makes efficient use of the pickup camera. The two input transparencies to be correlated are superimposed with the illumination of one temporally offset in frequency. The resultant electrical signal is processed to isolate the desired cross-correlation terms.
