The future of multi-core technologies

The first half of the Panel session will provide an opportunity for panel members to present their ideas on the future of multi-core and alternative architecture technologies. The emphasis will be on how HPC computing needs are handled by the present generation architectures, what is in store in the next generation, and the vision of the ideal architecture. The summaries and discussion are open to market, hardware and software topics of interest to the chair, panel members and the audience. Topics of interest for the panel and audience include:
