New Data-Logging Tools--New Investigations.

The gathering of data using data-loggers is only the beginning of the process of learning from computer-aided practical work. There is much investigating to be done on the collected data. The author describes examples of the type of investigations which exploit the tools now commonly featured in data-logging software. Attention is drawn to the importance of designing tasks that encourage pupils to think about the data and the principles which underpin worthwhile data-logging tasks are suggested.
