Videometric Tracking of Wind Tunnel Aerospace Models at Nasa Langley Research Center

Les ingenieurs travaillant avec des souffleries, ont besoin de determiner la localisation et l'orientation des modeles aerospatiaux dans les conditions memes de l'experience. Il faut que le procede de mesure soit sans contact, non perturbateur et fournisse un taux d'echantillonnage eleve. Les techniques a metrique video, basees sur des cameras multiples, a DTC et synchronisees, peuvent fournir les donnees de position et d'orientation a des frequences de 30Hz ou 60Hz, avec des precisions acceptables. On decrit dans cet article un systeme d'acquisition de donnees, concu et mis en oeuvre au Centre de Recherche Langley de la NASA, pour la saisie de la position et de l'orientation des modeles aerospatiaux a vol libre. On examine les techniques d'etalonnage du systeme et de traitement des donnees. On decrit deux exemples d'essais de ces modeles tandis que d'autres exemples de saisie de donnees sont presentes.
