A comparison of students' performance and satisfaction with a visual programming course delivered live and by interactive videoconferencing

The purpose of this study was to compare students' performance in and satisfaction with a visual programming course taught both live in traditional classroom settings and by interactive videoconferencing in separate, asynchronous sessions. The research study was conducted at the Faculty of Computer Science, University “Goce Delcev” in Stip, using the campus located in the city of Stip for traditional teaching and the dispersed campus located in the city of Strumica. The results show that students in both the classroom setting and interactive videoconferencing setting performed well and had a high overall perception of the course.
