Brake-by Wire 시스템용 페달 모듈 개발

Brake-by-wire system consists of EMB (Electric Mechanical Brake) and Pedal Module. Current existing brake pedal module for brake by wire used a number of springs to make nonlinear pedal force of variety of different car's master cylinder. Brake pedal needs High elastic coefficient springs because of high reactive Force. The high elastic coefficient springs make problems that damage spring housing and reduce assembling rate. The suggested pedal system is designed using kinematic linkage to imitate the pedal force of hydraulic brake system. It is also designed as redundant system for failure tolerance. Brake-by wire system must evidently be available and safe. In this paper, the brake pedal designed redundant system for safe braking. The redundant system is possible to do same motion although one side links were broken. Moreover Multi sensors system are attached to detect the brake motion and to be used for unmanned vehicle system.
