Moiré Contourgraph — An accuracy analysis

Abstract The geometrical aspects of moire fringe topography and its possible error sources are discussed. Experimental results obtained with the Moire Contourgraph, designed for scoliosis detection and analysis, are presented. The accuracy of the geometrical information, offered by the moire fringes, is analyzed by means of precise photogrammetric measurement of the test object.
