Analysis on Performance of MIMO Channel Estimation in Troposcatter Communication

The fading characteristic of troposcatter channel is illustrated,a MIMO channel model of troposcatter is built and the detailed simulation procedure is given.According to the characteristics of troposcatter channel,the paper studies the channel estimation based on training sequence,especially analyses the LS and MMSE estimation algorithms,and simulates the performance of them.The results show that in troposcatter communication,accurate channel estimation can make the transmitted data be received correctly at the receiving end,so that the performance of system can be improved greatly.
