Study of Temperature Field and Heat Preservation and Insulation Layer for Tunnel in Cold Area

Temperature changing course of secondary liner and peripheral rock is analyzed using 3-D FEM programs in order to evaluate the effect of heat preservation and insulation material for thickness 0 or 3 cm. The distribution of temperature stress, concrete crack arisen by this stress are studied and preventing frostbite effect is judged . The computational result shows the difference in temperature of secondary liner with 3 cm thickness is little and the heat preservation and insulation layer can preferably prevent secondary liner from influence of temperature stress, avoid frozen harm such as crack and so on. The result is worthy of engineering reference.
