Effet de paroi dans les empilements désordonnés de sphères et application à la porosité de mélanges binaires

Resume On rend compte par un modele geometrique simple de l'excedent de porosite observe experimentalement dans la premiere couche de grains spheriques au contact d'une paroi plane et lisse. On utilise egalement ce modele pour interpreter les variations de porosite des melanges binaires de grains spheriques en fonction de leur composition. On calcule laporosite locale de la couche avoisinant la surface d'une grosse sphere dans un lit de petites spheres. On calcule le “volume apparent partiel” des constituants du melange par analogie avec la thermodynamique des solutions.
