Parametric Waveform Analysis Method For Time-variant Signals

A waveform model is proposed for a time-variant signal. The waveform consists of amplitude, frequency, initial phase, and a time-variant phase term. The last term corresponds to a phase moduration. A short time-frame is specified as the neighbourhood of an instantaneous time point. A Vandermonde matrix is composed to give the phase and amplitude based on rms error. The frequency is estimated based on the Instantaneous Maximum Entropy Method (IMEM) proposed by the authors.
