Combined Application of Excavation and Blasting in Thick Layer of Silt Foundation

As a mature technology,blasting treatment of soft foundation is a kind of technology that is simple,sufficient,easy to construct,low cost and so on.For the properties of soft soils,blasting law generally works within some depth,and the effect of blasting off the bottom will be difficult to achieve if beyond the allowable depth.In this paper,based on the project about 250 000 tons of ore terminal in Lianyungang Port,the technology of excavation combined with blasting treatment was applied,and the drilling detection and displacement monitoring were performed in order to prove whether it is feasible and provide reference for similar projects.
