A new mesh generator optimized for electromagnetic analysis

In this work a new mesh generator implemented based on the paving algorithm is described. Any geometry created with NURBS surfaces can be meshed with that, generating continuous and homogeneous meshes composed by quadrilateral and triangular curved elements. It has been parallelized using MPI and another technique to accelerate the meshing time has been implemented, the new multilevel mode. This mesh generator is optimized for electromagnetic tools, so the original algorithm has been adapted and focused to ensure the convergence of that tools and the quality of the results. The continuity in the meshes is a critical requirement in some electromagnetic algorithms, as can be the Method of Moments, so the mesh generator can detect automatically the topologies between neighbor surfaces. A cone-sphere and a reflector have been meshed with different mesh generators and simulated with the tool New Fasant, where this mesher is included, to compare the results and validate the implemented mesh generator.
