Capsaicin effectively prevents apoptosis in the contralateral testis after ipsilateral testicular torsion

Objective To evaluate the effect of afferent nerve blockage by administration of capsaicin on apoptotic changes in the contralateral testis in rats undergoing ipsilateral testicular torsion.
