In Field Tractor Operation - a Model to Optimise Work Rate and Fuel Consumption
暂无分享,去创建一个
The results of field trials of the tractive performance of a large unequal four wheel drive (front wheel assist) tractor are used to verify a model for tractive performance over a range of speeds, tyre equipment and ballasted mass in both two and four wheel drive modes. The results of PTO tests are then used to extend the tractive performance model to a complete model of the whole tractor. The tractor model is then combined with a model for the draft requirements of a typical implement operating in similar conditions. In this way, a model of the entire tractor/implement system is obtained and used to demonstrate the effects of varying the selection of gear, tyres, ballasted mass and drive mode on the possible work rate and fuel consumption per hectare. It would also be possible to demonstrate the effects of varying implement parameters if these parameters were included in the implement portion of the model.
