The paper introduces a novel transimpedance amplifier based on the sequence of an integrator and a differentiator stage with a feedback loop that allow the system to discharge the standing current from the device under test. The proposed solution maintains signal amplification over a large bandwidth while ensuring a timeless measuring opportunity. The amplifier is ideal for noise spectral measurements of nanodevices and biomolecules covering a spectral range from few Hz to few MHz, and processing DC leakage currents as high as few hundred nanoAmperes. The circuit architecture can be easily transferred an integrated solution, opening a wide range of applications in miniaturized systems.
