ANSYS Based Analysis on Width Affection of Carbon Fiber Sheet Reinforced Plates

In order to use Carbon Fiber Sheet reasonably,the width affection of Carbon Fiber Sheet Reinforced Plates is Analyzed by numerical simulation with finite element software ANSYS in this paper.Firstly,the models effectiveness is verified,and then the crack propagation and the crack appearance,carrying capacity,bending deflection and interfacal debonding stress of 6 CFRP plates are analyzed with different glue types.The results show that the carrying capacity and interfacal debonding stress are significantly affected by width affection,but the cracks and the bending deflection are on the contrary.It makes realistic meaning to study the width affection of Carbon Fiber Sheet.
