Delirium, a study of 100 cases

A retrospective study has been made on 100 consecutive cases of delirium admitted to the John L. McClellan Veterans Hospital, Little Rock, Arkansas, during the past 7½ years. The cases were statistically grouped according to the classification recommended by the American Psychiatric Association. They were further grouped as to predominant medical or precipitating conditions. Observations were drawn as to pertinent laboratory and neurosensory findings.
