Abstract Thisstudyaimstodevelopastereoscopicimageauthoringtooltoeffectivelyproducee-Bookcontentthatenhancesuser’ssenseofimmersionin3Denvironments.Theproposedauthoringtoolconsistsofthreecoresystems;3Dobjectediting,stereoscopicimage,andimagemediaproductionsystems.First,theobjecteditingsystemarrangesandproducesdiverseobjectsthatconstitutevirtual3Dspacestofitthepurposeofthecontent.Inthiscase,commercialgraphicauthoringtoolsareutilizedtodesignefficientdatastructuresthatcanincludeproducedexternalmodels.Inaddition,thematerialandtexturesofobjectsaremadetoberevisableandeditableintotheformwantedbytheuser.Thereafter,astereoscopicimagesystemwillbeimplementedtoproducethegeneratedvirtualscenesintostereoscopicimages.ThisstudyusestheAnaglyphmethodsothattheusercanimplementandusestereoscopicimagescenesmoreeasily.Thismethodincludefunctionstochangethecolorofstereocamerasandcontroldepthscaling.Finally,animagemediaproductionsystemwillbeimplementedthatwillenableproducingtheproducedstereoscopicimagesintosingleimagesorvideossothattheycanbeeffectivelyutilizedine-Bookcontent.Keywords : Stereoscopic Image, Anaglyph, e-Book, Immersicve Contents, Authoring Tool※ Corresponding Author : Jinmo KimReceived : January 04, 2015Revised : February 10, 2016Accepted : February 24, 2016*Dept. of Software, Catholic University of Pusan**Dept. of Software, Catholic University of Pusan***Dept. of Software, Catholic University of Pusan
