Design and demonstration of multi-domain, multi-technology software defined networks for high-performance cloud computing infrastructure

A novel service on demand (SoD) architecture for data center (DC) is proposed and implemented over a multi-layer multi-technology software defined network. The architecture is demonstrated on an optical DC infrastructure and its performance evaluated with cloud applications.
