A multi-channel digital subsystem for MR signal acquisition was designed to achieve parallel acquisition. The subsystem is based on FPGA,DSP and Power PC. Sample the multi-channel magnetic resonance signals at a high speed simultaneously and demodulate them directly. A digital down conversion (DDC) chip (AD6636) demodulate and decimate multi-channel signal under the DSP control. Power PC reads out the I/Q data of each channel at the same time with the signal sampling frequency up to 100 MSPS. The subsystem can be applied to magnetic field of 1T. Experiments show that four channels work well, and filter parameters can be changed easily by user. It is optimized for compact with high sampling rate and rich flexible filter design. It provides a high-performance signal acquisition design for parallel imaging.
