Method for mass production of primary metabolites, strain for mass production of primary metabolites, and method for preparation thereof

A method for mass-producing primary metabolites is provided to mass-produce various primary metabolites organic acids, which are environment-friendly and industrially useful, by blocking a specific pathway among metabolic pathways of microorganism, and substitute conventional chemical synthetic materials for the mass-produced organic acids, thereby reducing cost and protecting environment. The method for producing at least one primary metabolites of Zymomonas mobilis selected from the group consisting of ethanol, lactate, pyruvate, citrate, glutamate, succinate, fumarate and maleate comprises the steps of: (a) preparing a Zymomonas mobilis transformant prepared by removing at least one gene selected from the group consisting of a pdc gene coding pyruvate decarboxylase(SED ID : NO. 1) and an ldhA gene coding lactate dehydrogenase (SEQ ID : NO. 2) from a genome of the Zymomonas mobilis; and (b) culturing the Zymomonas mobilis transformant at a temperature of 30-34 deg.C for 10-14 hours.
