Different modulation formats for Gigabit-over-POF

Comparison of the performances of 2-PAM and duobinary modulation formats for the transmission of Gigabit Ethernet signal over SI-POF. We demonstrated that duobinary provides the best performances, without any significant increase in implementation complexity.
