GDOP index in UWB indoor location system experiment

UWB (Ultra Wideband) TOF (Time of Flight) location system is a high accuracy real time indoor location system. It includes many anchors and positioning tags. GDOP (geometric dilution of precision) is an index that used to measures the accuracy of GPS (Global positioning system). In this paper we will study GDOP from the GPS and use GDOP into indoor location system. Researching whether GDOP is a big impact to the accuracy of UWB indoor location system. At the end of the paper, there are two-dimensional positioning GDOP simulation based on MATLAB and several groups of experimental data which calculated by hyperbolic positioning algorithm.
