Injection optimization is a large-scale computing problem by numerical methods,and grid computing is an excellent technology to provide powerful computation capacity that can be used for mold design.Employing Kriging surrogate function and sequential linear programming,a multi-objective optimization model based on grid is developed,where mold temperature,melt temperature and injection time are the design variables.Grid algorithm is designed for injection processing optimization,which can make good use of massive grid resources to complete independent meta-tasks effectively in collaborative way.As an example,the processing optimization of cellular phone cover is investigated on grid.The optimization results show that the optimization can improve the qualities of injection production and the proposed optimization method is available for the optimization design with high efficiency.
