On the yielding of a rigid/plastic bar with an Izod notch
暂无分享,去创建一个
Abstract S olutions are given for the standard Izod specimen and for an Izod specimen without root radius (sharp notch). Three loading systems are considered: namely, pure bending, central loading as a simply supported beam, and loading as a cantilever. The relative severity of these systems as regards producing high tensile stresses at the root of the notch is considered, and the location of these stresses indicated.
