AbstractThis study investigated the availability and present use of microcomputers in vocational education. In addition, the study sought to determine the knowledge, skills, and attitudes of vocational teachers toward microcomputers as well as their opinions regarding a number of computer-related topics. The majority of vocational teachers were somewhat informed about all aspects of computer usages. They favored the use of microcomputers in vocational education and expressed an interest in acquiring necessary computer skills and knowledge. There were significant differences in teachers’ attitudes toward using microcomputers among various groups of teachers in terms of their community type, school level, prior microcomputer training, and the availability of microcomputers.
