The only thing we ever learn from history, is that we never learn from history. Successful projects are remembered for the people who gave visionary leadership or demonstrated real teamwork. Paradoxically, project failure is attributed to poor technology. Yet history shows that people tip the balance between success and failure. Why then do so many projects still consider people as an afterthought? Do we really learn nothing from history?
