Suboptimal ODN design algorithm for minimizing cable deployment cost

A novel design algorithm of PON ODN is proposed and demonstrated. Based on the forecasted demand, it can automatically generate a suboptimal network in terms of the total cable deployment construction length under realistic restrictions.
