Electric Power Output Optimization for CCHP Using PSO Theory

Abstract Electric power output optimization for CCHP systems is crucial to the operation since it determines how much power can generate for cold, heat and power demands, which have great impacts on energy, economical, and environmental factors. The existing methods are based on PLB and TLB modes, which can decide the power outputs. PSO is proposed to search the optimal power output of GTG rather than the PLB and TLB modes. The simulation results prove the effectiveness of the proposed method, and the influences of efficiency drops of the CCHP at part load operation on IPC methods are analyzed.
