Recording medium storing real time record/playback information, method and apparatus for recording and reproducing in real time, and file operating method using the same

PURPOSE: A method and apparatus for coding a mobile communication system and implementing a frequency diversity are provided to record/reproduce a file on a real time basis by assigning a real time recording/reproducing attribute to the file for differentiation. CONSTITUTION: A real time file is assigned real time recording/reproducing information as an attribute. For example, in case that a file system is a UDF(Universal Disk Format) system, the real time recording/reproducing attribute information can be stored in a file extended attribute region or a stream directory ICB(Information Control Block) region. Real time recording/reproducing information on each file can be stored in an information region of each file. The real time recording/reproducing attribute information on each file can be stored as a separate file. In the case that the file system is the UDF system, the real time recording/reproducing attribute information can be stored in a volume structure region which is different from a file structure region. When the real time recording/reproducing attribute information is stored in the volume structure region or in the file structure region of the UDF format, when a volume is mounted or a file is opened, the real time recording/reproducing attribute information is first interpreted, and then, data is recorded/reproduced on a real time basis according to the interpreted information.
