Discussions about drift limit of frame-concrete corewall hybrid structures

Frame-concrete corewall hybrid structure is widely used in China,but research on horizontal drift limit is not fully addressed.Based on theoretical analysis and finite element analysis,influence of height-width ratio on structural deformation was discussed and the relationship between height-width ratio and drift limit was illustrated.Furthermore,drift and safety of four frame-concrete corewall hybrid structures were compared.As a result,relative inter-story drift and roof drift can act as effective supplements of inter-story total drift,and drift limit should be determined according to different drift index for structures with different peri-frame type.
