Mobile application for remote control of stereoscopic images acquisition system

Together with the development of 3D technology, a growing demand for 3D content creation appeared, leading to a noticeable growth in both number of users and their requirements. Although, there are many commercial solutions that help to automate 3D video recording process, there is still a lot of room for improvements in this area. In this paper the design and implementation process of a mobile application for remote control of stereoscopic images acquisition system is presented. Authors show both user interface design procedure and discuss performance issues that can occur in such applications. Obtained results are encouraging and useful for development of similar solutions.
