Screen stabilizing device for a display unit

An image stabilizing apparatus for a display unit with a screen, comprising: a measuring circuit having at least one accelerometer for measuring movement of the display unit; a processing circuit for processing the signals of the measuring circuit and for outputting a displacement signal; a motion compensation circuit for adjusting an image on the screen by means of a shift signal, so that the image on the screen of the display unit with respect to an observer remains substantially stationary, wherein the motion compensation circuit connects the shift signal with another signal to the image gradually reset to its original position, wherein the motion compensation circuit cuts off the image at its periphery by deleting the pixels of the image at one edge and adds pixel at another edge of the image.
