Is Elective Cerclage Justified in the Management of Triplet and Quadruplet Pregnancy?

Summary: The main complication in multiple gestation with more than two fetuses is prematurity, with its concomitant increase in perinatal mortality and morbidity. Clearcut indications as to management of these pregnancies are lacking, and the efficiency of elective cerclage is controversial.
