Investigation into obstacle-striding mechanism of multi-functional disabled-assisting car

In this study,a novel obstacle-striding car is developed for traveling convenience of the leg-paralytic or arm-maimed elder and disabled.Based on market surveying of the disabled,a generic design platform is proposed.In particular,the optimal design option is obtained using MatlabTM in terms of an obstacle-striding mechanism.By applying the pendulum-arm mechanism,the wheel-track-interacted driving is eventually realized for this purpose.
