The performance detection system of distributed control system on offshore platform

This paper analyzes the requirements of the offshore oil platform of the distributed control system and aims at the lack of performance testing of the distributed control system in the process of offshore oil platform oil and gas separation. Based on two different PLC, a performance detection system of oil and gas separation control system was built. The system is consisted of software program client, lower order and field model. Through the OPC bus technology, software client can achieve data exchange with the host computer, two sets of PLC connected by modbus. The detection system combines the evaluation algorithm and the existing oil-gas separation control system in the real-time to test the performance of system. The results show that the detection system has the characteristics of low cost, reliable test and convenient operation.
