Method and device for handling of bands at the handover of (cigarette) packs

The invention relates to a method and device for delivering (revenue) stamps (10) and placing same onto (cigarette) packs (11). The revenue stamps (10) are made available in the form of piles of stamps (12). A transfer conveyor (14) uses stamp holders (17) to take hold of the first free revenue stamp (10) on the pile of stamps (12) and transfers the revenue stamp (10) to a vertical feed conveyor (15). The latter transports the revenue stamps (10) downward to a transfer station (16) where they are kept ready for being received by a cigarette pack (11).
