Haar wavelet-based control of HVAC systems

In this paper the application of Haar wavelets is investigated in the output tracking control problem of a heating, ventilating, and air conditioning (HVAC) systems. We consider the linear fifth-order model of the dynamic zonal model about indoor environment. The control object is to hold the zone temperatures close to their respective setpoints. To apply the Haar wavelet based output tracking control method to the indoor air zone system, state and input vectors are transformed into Haar series and the solution is obtained by solving the Stein equation.
