A Novel Calibration Algorithm of LFM IF Signal Generator Circuit

Based on the error analysis of linear frequency modulated(LFM) intermediate frequency(IF) signal generator circuit,a novel error model in frequency domain was established.The model divided the signal generator circuit into two parts,the non-ideal LFM baseband signal generator circuit and the ideal IF modulator.Then a new calibration algorithm is proposed.Through changing the ROM data,it achieved the purpose of circuit error correction.Furthermore,a structure to realize the calibration algorithm was designed.Finally,the simulation results verified the excellence of the calibration algorithm and the correctness of the structure.
