Models and algorithms for the minimization of inventory and transportation costs: a survey

We survey the papers which present models for the minimization of the sum of inventory and transportation costs on logistic networks. The aim is to give an overview of the literature in this area and to provide some guidelines in the understanding of the different approaches and their evolution over time.
