Novel T-shape slot couple feed dual circular polarized rectenna

A compact and efficient DCP patch antenna including harmonic rejecting properties for wireless power transmission has been proposed and studied. The dual polarizations of the proposed DCP rectenna are obtained by using T-shape slot etched on the ground plane. Hence, the proposed antenna can receive either LHCP or RHCP senses. Besides, the T-shape slot has a benefit for second harmonic rejection. No additional LPF is needed between the antenna and the rectifier circuit. The antenna maximum simulated LHCP and RHCP gain are 8 dBic and 7.98 dBic.
