Effect of secondary circuit in LLC resonant DC-DC converter

In this paper, rectification methods for secondary side of LLC DC-DC converter are considered in order to achieve high efficiency and high output power. Firstly, two types of synchronous rectifier methods are compared. One is a Center-Tapped synchronous Rectifier (CTR) and the other is a Current-Doubler synchronous Rectifier (CDR) method. Also, two prototypes of converter are implemented and tested in the same conditions. Next, behaviors of switching devices and power loss of these two rectifications are presented.
