Apparatus for ventilating underground structures and method for control thereof

PURPOSE: A ventilation system of a underground structure and a control method thereof are provided to efficiently perform the ventilation of an underground structure by controlling external sensor and communicating with an EC motor in which a control unit is embedded. CONSTITUTION: A ventilation system of a underground structure comprises supply fans(200), exhaust fans(400), and inducing fans(500). The supply fans, the exhaust fans, and the inducing fans are connected to an EC motor. The EC motor comprises a BLDC motor, a motor driving unit, an address storage memory, a control data storage, an air sensing controller, an inside sensing controller, and a communications unit. The BLDC motor is connected to the fans. The motor driving unit controls the rotation speed and the rotation direction of the BLDC motor. The address storage memory is used for individually controlling the BL DC motor. The control data storage stores the optimal condition of the air of a underground space as data. The air sensing controller detects the air condition of the underground space to transmit the detected signal to the CPU of the motor driving unit. The inside sensing controller senses the current, voltage, noise, speed, and temperature of the BL DC motor to sense the normality of the BLDC motor.
