Email virus spreading model in the scale-free network

An email virus spreading model based on the scale-free network was proposed in this paper. By mathematical calculations, the density of infected users is obtained, and it is affected by many parameters, e.g., spreading rate, recovery rate and average degree of network etc. The simulation experiments show that the density of infected users will increase rapidly in the initial, and then decrease gradually before anti-virus technique appearing. Moreover, the spreading rate and average degree of network take the key important role in this phase.
