Conclusions1.Problems in mechanics of composite materials with small-amplitude large-scale curving of the filler have been formulated from the “continuum” approach.2.A method of solving these problems has been proposed which uses the concept underlying the method of a small parameter and which reduces the problems to sequences of problems for bodies with rectilinear orthotropy. All relations in any approximation have been derived in accordance with the model of a linearly elastic body.3.An example of a plate in compression has been shown where the specific effect of small-amplitude large-scale curving of the filler manifests itself.
